Yesterday is the last day of my exam.. So glad eh.. FINALLY can relax and everything le.. Hahax... Btw, ytd aftermaths I went down to Sim Lim with melvin as promised to buy his HDD player, which will be able to play all formats of videos on the tv from the HDD.. Another classmate, Shee Han also wanted to see china phone, so she tag along with us. A few days ago on Monday Melvin and I already went to Sim Lim and saw that at one of the shops, a Singaporean Sales man is selling the video player that melvin wanted. 50 dollars for HD-ready player and 70 dollars for Full HD player. thats why melvin wanted to go ytd to get the full HD player which is proclaimed to be able to play all formats. However, yesterday, When we went to that same shop, An MIC (Made in China) salesman was selling the same products. When we reached the shop, a Typical Singaporean was asking how it works , as u know Singaporeans are more kiasu and more weary about the lousy china products. Then the China Salesman is like very "YAYA" and didnt seem to be so interested in explaining how it works. Then the Sinngaporean customer said in chinese with a smile : "You like that can come Singapore do business ah?" Then the MIC salesman replied in chinese with a smile also : "Of course! Why cant I?" Then despite all these, after the Singaporean customer went away, We approached the MIC salesman and asked : "can we try the player?" Cos I asked mel to bring along his HDD with videos to try out first .. MIC products eh.. LOW QUALITY! So MUST try first. He let us try and guess what, the HD-ready player cannot play certain avi formats den the MIC man gave some excuses and say the format isnt right and another player can play everything. So OKAY , we went and try that. Really it works.
So we went and asked for the price . The MIC salesman said that the HD-ready player costs 70 (which is actually 50 when we went on Monday) and the full-HD player costs 100 (which is supposed to be 70) I remembered the price but I dare not say because I am in front of the MIC man. THEN the so called "Can play every format" player costs 180!! WTH!!!! What a scam... On monday, the salesman claimed that the 50 dollar1 can play everything.. now onli can play a few formats and then the one which can play all formats costs 180!
I know Melvin sure very despo for the player so I asked: "Can we have a discount?" Then he say he only can sell to us at 170 cos he going to close shop soon. I asked Melvin again ... "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO BUY?" cos i know it isnt really right already. He wanted so okay he went to pay for it via nets. GUESS WHAT HE TYPED 173.. Then I asked : where the 3 dollars came from? then he said its nets fee... WAHLAO! MIC MAN WITH BAD ATTITUDE! Okay never mind.
OkAY SAME MAN WITH SAME ATTITUDE AH. SHEE HAN ASKED THE PRICE FOR SOME CHINA PHONE COS SHE WANTED TO BUY. THEN, THE SAME MIC MAN SAID: "240 INCLUDE EXTRA BATTERY POUCHAND SCREEN PROTECTER. " AND THEN WHEN WE WENT DOWNSTAIRS AND SAW THE SAME PHONE, iT ONLI COSTS 185 WITH THE 4GB KINGSTON MICRO SD. WTH MIC SCAM MAN IN SIM LIM SQUARE.
Now you know why I am so weary about all these MIC people? Hais...
Nothing to say about these pple anymore.
Just hope that they would change.. Or else I tell you they wouldnt go far!
